Terms

• Seven days free, then $29.99 a year for one person. Nothing is metered — no credits, no question caps.
• A payment method is required for the trial. Cancel during the first seven days and you will not be charged.
• After the trial it renews yearly. Cancel any time and it stops at the end of the period you paid for.
• Full refund within 14 days of a charge, no reason required.
• Requires macOS 13 or later, on either an Apple silicon or an Intel Mac.
• Your answers are yours. Cue's questions and explanations are ours.

These bullets are a summary. The sections below are the actual terms.

Cue is operated from California, United States (“we”, “us”). By buying or using Cue you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it — and if you have already paid, ask for a refund. Legal and support inquiries can be sent to support@cuelearn.app.

• The Cue Mac app, and every update released while your subscription is active.
• All five career paths and all 29 subjects in the catalog.
• Unlimited cards and unlimited graded answers. There is no usage cap and no fair-use asterisk.
• Offline use, subject to grading requiring a connection.
• The Windows version at no extra cost when it is released.

One subscription covers one person. You may install Cue on any Mac you personally use.

The first seven days are free. A payment method is required when the trial starts, but it is not charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

After the trial, $29.99 per year is billed once through Polar as merchant of record. Applicable sales tax or VAT is added and shown at checkout.

The subscription renews automatically each year until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the account link on your receipt; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for and is not prorated.

We may change the price. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days notice before it applies to your renewal, and you can cancel instead.

Within 14 days of any charge, ask and we will refund it in full. No justification needed. Write to support@cuelearn.app. This is in addition to any statutory right of withdrawal you have where you live.

Grading a written answer requires an internet connection. Cards you have already received, review scheduling and the dashboard all work offline.

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use Cue for as long as your subscription is active. You may not redistribute it, resell it, share your licence, or remove or defeat the parts that check whether a subscription is active.

Yours: everything you write. Your answers, your goal, your plan. You can export all of it whenever you like, and we do not use your answers to train models.

Ours: the app, the curriculum, the questions, the explanations and the corpus behind them. You may use them to learn. You may not scrape, bulk-export or republish the content, or use it to build a competing dataset or product.

Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service, and do not use it to store or transmit anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that is doing so, and will refund the unused remainder if we do.

Cue is a learning aid. It does not guarantee that you will pass an interview, get a role or reach any particular level of skill, and its explanations may occasionally be wrong — some are produced by a language model. Use judgement, especially before applying anything from Cue to a production system.

We do not promise uninterrupted availability. There is no uptime SLA on this plan. We will try to keep it up, and the app is designed to keep working from its local cache when the backend is not reachable.

Cue is provided “as is” to the extent the law where you live allows it. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury or fraud.

You can stop any time by cancelling. We may end your subscription if you breach these terms, or if we discontinue Cue — in which case we will refund the unused portion of what you paid and give as much notice as we reasonably can.

If we change these terms materially, we will give notice before the change applies to you. The date at the top reflects the current version.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, and disputes go to the state or federal courts located in California. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protections of the law where you live.
